//////////////////////////////////////////// Fighter Town USA Military Fly-In November 12, 2011
Registered Pilots

Fighter Town USA Military Fly-In On November 12, 2011 we held our Fighter Town USA Military Fly-In,
our last event of 2011. We had 19 registered pilots and a great number of spectators. The big spectator
turnout can be attributed to the fact that this event was published in a number of local newspapers. The spectator support
put the event on the black side of the financial ledger. Again we were supported by our local vendors with many raffle
items. Check the Vendors Page of our Web Site and support these vendors. Both the gate and kitchen provided a
good profit. Thanks to Bruce Horvath, CD, and his assistant Joe Barzyz and all those members who spent the day working
to make this event a complete success. Joy Blue, kitchen Chairperson and her helpers Pat Carter, Gerrie Diesu and Werner
Keil worked the kitchen. Tony Degenaro, a friend of Bruce Horvath who is not a member, handled registrations and
sold raffle tickets. Baz Humphrey and Rod Warren managed the main gate. Roger Cherry and Harvey Cohen took pictures.
President Dan Carter managed the finances. Together with Bill Intini, Marvin Sanders, Dan Carter
and myself we were able to erect the large wooden aircraft at the main gate. This aircraft was built by Bill Intini
and definitely attracted spectators. This aircraft can be seen in the Recent Events section of our Web Site and
in the December Newsletter. The day was perfect for flying. Every one enjoyed the event. Mike
