The Junior Reserved Officers Training Corps students from Ocoee High School return again this year for flight instructions.
This year's event was held on May 1, 2010 and is the 3rd year
Bay City Flyers' sponsored this training event. We provided instructors and radio control airplanes
for the students to use. One pilot, Bruce Hartmann, stated that at least two of the cadets were so proficient that if
given two more weeks of instruction, they would earn their "solo" card. The cadets were also treated to a
hotdog lunch before finishing up the day with more flying.

On May 22 of this year a number of Bay City Flyer Members volunteered to help clean up a section of camping grounds
at the Conner Preserve. Some of these members are pictured below. Additional members came out to support
this clean up and the work was completed before noon. Thanks guy for representing our club.
