Bay City Flyers is a club comprised
of members from the Tampa Bay area of Florida as well as "snow birds" from up north who spend their winters
here with us. We fly radio control or remotely controlled (RC) aircraft of all types, including conventional airplanes,
helicopters, and sailplanes. You'll find every level of RC pilot in our midst, from raw beginners learning to fly
trainer airplanes to national champions performing amazing aerobatics with giant scale aircraft with wingspans of
over 10 feet. One can see every make and model of aircraft at our flying fields, including World War I and World
War II scale fighter aircraft, aerobatic planes modeled after famous air show planes (such as the one flown by Patty Wagstaff), as
well as unique aircraft that were designed and built by the modeler in their garage.

Bay City Flyers prides itself on several
things, but first and foremost is our dedication to possessing a warm, open, and friendly culture that welcomes one and all
to join us in having a wonderful time flying model aircraft. We think we have a wonderful group of members, and even
though we sometimes work hard at our hobby, we also strive to have fun and build relationships. Our flying sites are
superb, especially our newest flying site that we affectionately call "Area 52".
We have programs aimed
at introducing this fine hobby to young people, by giving demonstrations at various schools, as well as special "instruction
days" at the flying field.
We have Club Meetings every month; all of the details about the date, time, and
location can be found on our MONTHLY MEETING page.

Each year, Bay City Flyers hosts special
events, including our Annual Christmas Party (we bring our family members also), an Annual Swap Meet,
and several excellent competitive and non-competitive flying events. You can find the dates for these
events on the UPCOMING EVENTS page on this web site.
